I’m trying out a dedicated blogging client called Qumana. It’s allows you to write your blog without logging in. Then you can publish it as needed.

I’m actually writing this post with it right now. It also knows the categories, so you can select which one you want. I’ve only tested with WordPress, but you can use with with Blogger, TypePad, Moveable Type, etc.

Now I need to publish to check it out.

Update: I can’t get images to post with this. I’m going to write technical support and see if they can help me.

Update: Good news. Tech support responded to my e-mail and said the reason was a bug in WP 2.0. I have since upgraded to 2.0.2, and now it’s working perfect!
