Check out my new Digital Audio System, I just picked this up the other night. It’s pretty much the first REAL sound card I’ve ever gotten.

I was pretty much looking for something I could get up and running pretty quick, without a giant learning curve to begin with, and of course something I can use with my Yamaha P-90 keyboard.

This card also came with Cakewalk Sonar LE, so I’ll have some software to get my feet wet with. Then depending on my progression and stuff, I can upgrade to a better version of Sonar.

I still need to go pick up some MIDI cables to connect my keyboard and soundcard. I also need to get some better speakers to upset my neighbors, but maybe they’ll enjoy listening to me play. =]

With all that said, I’m going to be adding a little Music section on my site where I’ll post my recordings. If you have been following my website for awhile, I used to have this section, but the recordings were just done with a mic plugged into the headphone jack on my keyboard, needless to say it didn’t sound very good.

This is going to be some good stuff. I’m practicing some Chopin songs (My favorite classical composer) right now which sound amazing.
