I wanted to briefly write about my new Jabra BT500 bluetooth headset.

First off, I’ll tell you it’s a world of difference compared to the Logitech headset I previously purchased. Purchasing the wrong headset can really make or break your view on technology such as these headsets. I guess that can be said about any piece of technology though. The problem with the headsets is that it’s hard to really test them before buying them. You can try one of your friends headsets on, but you probably don’t want it in your ear after being in theirs, and they probably don’t want it in your ear either, so that’s why it’s good to read various reviews.( If you’re one of my friends please don’t ask to try mine on! haha) I like going to Amazon and reading various reviews. Usually I feel that those reviews come from real people.

Well moving on, my device paired up easily with both my LG VX8100 cell phone and my laptop. I’ve tested it via both devices and it works great. The BT500 has a small button on it just for pairing devices which I like. It also has a volume control which is easy to use while wearing the headset. Also has an easy to use button for making and receiving calls.

Now this device is a little strange looking, but let me say it’s super comfortable. Just by the looks I didn’t think it would be, but it’s quite amazing. It’s very light, and you almost forget you’re wearing it after awhile. It didn’t give me any pain or discomfort.

I’ll definitely be keeping this headset, it’s part of my personal technology arsenal now. I sent the Logitech headset back. If you are considering the purchase of a bluetooth headset, I have no misgivings on recommending the Jabra BT500!
