New RAM

27 October 2007

Well my new RAM for my notebook arrived this past week and I took some pictures of the install. I haven’t had a chance to prepare the pictures yet, but I’ll probably do that this weekend sometime. 4GB of RAM in my notebook is nice!
Maybe I’ll go to Starbucks this evening and work on that.
Cheers.

Interview with Craig from Craigslist

26 October 2007

I thought this was entertaining, an interview with the founder of Craigslist by Colbert.

Internet Calls

25 October 2007

I ran across a site today called Talkster. Basically it’s another way to start making cheap phone calls, but they also have a system in place where you can call landline phones for free also, but there’s a catch.

Calorie Counter

23 October 2007

So lately I’ve been trying to get back onto the health bandwagon, saying such, it probably doesn’t help that I’m sitting at Starbucks right now having a frappuccino, but that’s okay because I’ve been keeping track of my daily intake and it fits within my limit.

23 October 2007

I decided to pick one of these up for my notebook. I found a really good deal on Pricegrabber, only 70 dollars. I had mentioned a couple days ago that I was thinking about it, but wasn’t quite sure.
I’m looking forward to trying it out. From the reviews I read it’s pretty quiet, stays [...]

Art Title Generator

21 October 2007

This is a pretty cool site. It will generate art title pieces. I’m not sure how random it is, because I’ve seen the same name come up more than once and I’m not completely convinced if you use one of the titles from the site that it’s your own unique conception, however nonetheless, it’s still [...]

K-Pax

21 October 2007

One of my favorite movies is K-Pax, staring Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. I’ve watched it several times over. I definitely recommend it if you haven’t seen it. This movie is based on the books by author Gene Brewer.
I recently sent an e-mail to Gene asking him about the possibility of a movie sequel [...]
