I wanted to quickly write about my recent experience with APC. I recently purchased this APC 350 UPS from my local Fry’s Electronics.

I didn’t open the box for awhile, and 30 days had passed by the time I started using it. Unfortunately it had some electrical glitch and didn’t work correctly. I thought I was pretty much screwed and had to consider this a loss.

I contacted APC support and I was amazingly shocked how great their support is. I did this all through e-mail, not a single phone call. First they had me try a couple solutions which didn’t yield any results. Then they shipped me out a new unit and covered all the shipping. They even provided me a UPS label to return the old one free of charge. I’m very happy with my experience with them, and will be sure that my next battery backup unit is APC.
