Lowel Ego Lighting

So I came across these lights and they’re called Lowel Ego. They are specially made for taking digital imagies with and they seem pretty nice.

You can buy one, or you can purchase two so you’ll have two light sources. I don’t have an immediate use for them, but I could very soon in the future so I might be picking one up.

As an additional option you can purchase an accessory they call the Lowel Ego Sweep.

This product makes your photographs even more professional by providing a backdrop with different colors for you to pick from. You just clip on the backdrop you want, position you ego light, and you’re good to go!

The first place I actually heard about these lights were from tech broadcaster Leo Laporte. He bought them to improve the lighting on his webcam that he broadcasts on during his radio and podcasts shows.

Here is a photo of Leo in his studio. He has the lights position to the right of him, you can see the glow coming from them. Nice monitor setup he has!

Well I might be purchasing some of these in the future, but probably not for a couple more months to come. If and when I do, I’ll be sure to post a review about them on the site.
