On Black Friday, one of my favorite technology sites, Engadget, was having a series of give away contests. To play was pretty simple, all you had to do is leave a comment and they randomly select one of the comments and then you win if they selected you. So I decided to play, and guess what, I won one of them! I beat out about 800 other people on this contest which was cool.

So here was the contest that I entered. I ended up winning this 80 GB Mirra Personal Server. It’s a little old, but  hey it’s free. Unfortunately you have to use their client software with it (You can’t map any drives), but I’ve read on how some people have hax0red theirs and turned into into a full blown mini computer where you can put a small install of Linux of it. I’m wondering if I can throw a bigger hard drive at it…
