Holiday Movies Posted January 2, 2008 – 1:54 pm in: General
I typically don’t get to watch too many movies, but since I’ve been on vacation I’ve been watching a handful of them. Here’s what I’ve seen thus far:
Live Free or Die Hard - If you like action packed movies then you’ll like this one. It kept me interested most of the way through. I used Movielink to download this movie because I was going to watch it while I was on the plane, but the Movielink client was having a lot of problems. Perhaps it doesn’t work well with Vista, but I don’t plan on using it again.
Spiderman 3 - This movie was so so, I’m not really a Spiderman fanatic, but there was nothing else to really watch at the time. It was decent though and I liked the integration of Sandman. They’re in the process of making Spiderman 4, so I’ll probably watch that someday as well. Ordered this movie on demand.
Ice Age - I wasn’t planning on watching this but it just happened to be on television and the channel I was currently on so I decided to watch it. I’m not really into these animated movies which are gear more towards kids, but it wasn’t too bad.
Blast From The Past - This was a movie I ran into while flipping through some channels and not much else was on. I had already seen it before so I watched it again. This movie stars Brendan Fraser and Alicia Silverstone. I think this is a pretty good movie.
The Last Time - I decided to see what other movies Fraser has done and came across this one so I decided to watch it. He stars along with Michael Keaton in this one. It wasn’t the best, but it has an interesting twist. Not bad to check out if you’re running low on movie ideas.
I Am Legend- This is the only movie I actually went to the theater to see, but I thought it was pretty good. I heard some bad reviews of it, but I liked it. The humans w/ the viruses are pretty freaky.
Well those are all the movies for now. Cheers!
