I was planning on taking some time today to write some various posts on my site but I’ve been very very busy the last few days. I’ll probably write about what has been keeping my busy in a future blog post.

So CES has just wrapped up and there were a few cools things here and there. There was some great coverage on the web this year and probably saw more just watching the online coverage than I would have in person.

So Macworld is coming up next week. I’m not a Mac person and don’t own any Apple products except my iPod which is the old photo iPod which is barely working anymore. I’m more PC for my mainstream stuff, and also dabble in Linux a bit. That being said, I still really enjoy hearing the news at the Macworld events. It’s rumored that they’ll be announcing a 3G iPhone. Once this is released I’m thinking about getting one, that was the thing which was really holding me back because I’m not very impressed by Edge. I’m no longer in a contract with Verizon so I can switch at anytime. I’m also hoping a portable keyboard for the iPhone will be released which currently isn’t available.

It is also rumored that Apple will be announcing some type of portable notebook. It will be interesting to see, but for me that’s about it. I’ve often said that if Apple were to release a notebook with a two button touchpad I’d buy one. Who knows if they ever will though.
